So my remote stopped working out of nowhere — not dropped, not wet, just totally dead. Tried new batteries, still nothing. Super frustrating ‘cause I just wanted to watch something quick and now the whole setup’s useless. Anyone know a workaround to control the Firestick without needing the remote?

It’s kind of crazy how many smart devices rely on one tiny remote. You don’t think about having a backup until the thing disappears or dies on you. Total first-world problem, but still annoying.
