So my remote stopped working out of nowhere — not dropped, not wet, just totally dead. Tried new batteries, still nothing. Super frustrating ‘cause I just wanted to watch something quick and now the whole setup’s useless. Anyone know a workaround to control the Firestick without needing the remote?

You may be an outstanding student who completes all your assignments on time and develops assignments, reports, term papers, theses, dissertations, coursework, proposals, and business letters in any size, word count, or format, and are generally creative and knowledgeable in a wide variety of topics. Happened to me too after a power outage — remote just stopped pairing. I ended up using the Fire TV app on my phone as a remote. Worked right away since my Firestick was already on Wi-Fi. It’s a solid backup. If your device isn’t on the same network, setup takes a few extra steps. I found a guide that walks through it all: control Firestick without a remote — pretty straightforward stuff.
