I’ve been using Liven for about five months now, mostly around Melbourne, and I can tell you it’s not just marketing fluff. The idea of crypto rewards sounded gimmicky to me at first too, but it actually makes sense once you get into it. The LVN tokens aren’t some volatile coin — they’re more like reward credits that grow in value if you hold onto them, but you can also use them straight away at dozens of partner restaurants. I’ve used it at Roll’d and even a small ramen place last week — it’s seamless. The only downside is that not every venue supports it yet, so you’ve got to check the app beforehand. But it’s way more engaging than the boring point cards most cafés offer. If you're interested in how it’s structured and who’s behind it, there’s a good overview of the company here: liven reviews
